Our company Meniconi Marino has been well established in Foligno,  - "lu centru de lu munnu" (the center of the world) as the town has been known since ancient time - in 1984 by Luigi Meniconi, pig breeder and lover of good food who, with the willing of  introducing this product all around Italy, he decided to start selling the typical Umbrian porchetta in the North of Italy and especially in Lombardia.
The main customers are important retailers selling local products and street vendors, especially in Milan, with huge  supermarkets .
In 1991 the company has been ceded to his son, Marino, and in 1992 was taken the decision to build a new top quality and high technology plant, going through all the legal requirements, such as the new legislation EEC and being the first local plant applying to the legislation 9/881LP.
Even today the company is run by the same family with an external partner, having high capacity and quality equipment that allow us to support a production of 2000 kg per week.

The plant is well structured and equipped to a widespread distribution by courier for delivery in Italy and throughout Europe in a very short time.
